Customer Service Advisor – Dutch – Amsterdam

Our client, an international company, who are the leaders in their field are looking for a new member of their Customer Support team. The Customer Support department consists of a team of highly skilled international professionals that transfer their knowledge into customer solutions around the globe. Your main task will be to ensure quality operational services are delivered to all the client’s business partners and associates. The successful candidate will be experienced, highly motivated and proactive.

Main Tasks

  • Answer customer service queries and claims and record information from customers, insurance brokers and insurance companies
  • Manage incoming call volumes/enquiries within agreed time scales
  • Ensure that all information provided is verified and recorded accurately
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with Lessors, Customer’s Insurance Brokers/Companies and SuppliersWorking in a professional manner at all times
  • Ensure that the diary is maintained with the case information so that any member of the team can review a case at any time
  • Prioritise workloads daily in order to ensure company/Lessor/Supplier service level agreements are met if not exceeded
  • Deal with any complaint/expression of dissatisfaction made within agreed steps as set out according to complaints handling policy
  • Liaise with the senior management team regarding any issues which may arise
  • Support fellow team members to ensure that business as usual is maintained
  • Act as mentor/buddy to less experienced staff to ensure that they reach the required standard
  • Adhere to the company document at all times
  • Perform additional duties which the company may require from time to time


  • Hbo or Mbo education
  • Good attention to detail and accurate
  • Computer literate
  • Minimum of 2- 3 years experience preferably in a similar function
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Good organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills

37.5 hour work week
