HR Advisor – Amsterdam

Our client, who is a World Leading International manufacturing company, is looking for an HR Advisor to support the HR department at their European headquarters in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have international HR advisory experience, is fluent in English, preferably has some knowledge of the Dutch language and is motivated to make a long-term contribution to the company by optimizing the effectiveness of their employees. Main tasks

  • Support management and give advice regarding people matters
  • Frequently collaborate with the UK HR department and general management
  • Maintain good relationships with and give advice to employees at the company’s UK office
  • Look for ways to continuously improve the company’s employer brand
  • Payroll preparation
  • Ensure compliance of policies, procedures, and supplier contracts

Requirements

  • UK HR advisory experience highly preferred
  • Experience in Performance Management
  • Fluency in English, some knowledge of the Dutch language is preferred
  • Advanced computer skills (Oracle, SharePoint, Excel, MS Office)
  • Expertise on UK and preferably NL Employment Law, knowledge of other EU countries’ employment law is a plus
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and proactive personality
  • Willingness to travel regularly (25-30%)
