Logistics CS Specialist – Utrecht Area

 

Our client is a leading international company in the electronics industry. This position is responsible for coordinating international shipments from various factories to the Dutch warehouse or direct to customers worldwide. You will be responsible for a variety of customer OEM / CEM accounts worldwide. Applicants should be familiar with logistics practices and different modes of transportation. In addition, the applicant should have functional knowledge of supply chain management, the ability to problem-solve and work independently.

 

Main Tasks

  • Managing new and existing customer accounts to ensure on-time delivery
  • Handling expedites and rescheduling requests from customers
  • Answer logistics related questions from customers
  • Daily communication with other internal departments (customer service, sales, warehousing)
  • Daily communication with suppliers in Asia, Europe, and America
  • Monitor shipments and take corrective action to solve any issues that may occur
  • Processing of customer forecasts in our ERP system
  • Assisting with monthly revenue related reports
  • Other duties assigned as the business deems necessary

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor degree within Supply Chain / Logistics
  • Minimum 3-55 years of related professional experience
  • Fluency in English, other desirable
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (Previous experience with Navision/Business Central is a big plus!)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed based on the needs of the customers and business
  • Excellent time management, organizational, typing and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities
